Re: Video Window Always on Top?
I assume that you're in 6.02.
Open your movie and in the drop down menu on the movie window, there is an entry called "movie floats on top". Check it.

Mac Pro 2x2.66 DualCore 12 GB RAM, currently running a very stable 6.02 on 10.4.11 - VIs like PLAY, Kontakt 3.5, Omnisphere, Stylus... lots of sample libraries.

I'd like every window to float in front.

I'd like Jim Keltner to float on top of all my windows, roof, car, yard and anywhere that I can have easy access to get his ass in here to do my drum tracking.Tim wrote:

Will this be an included feature in 6.03????

Actually I'm using 5.1.3
Is there the floating option in this version?

Re: Video Window Always on Top?
No, it's new in DP6. Best bet is to put your video window on a separate monitor and don't put any other windows in front of it.malditoyanki wrote:Actually I'm using 5.1.3

Having the video window floating in front of your main track window (ie. consolodated window, TO or SE) is a pain anyway.
There's also a bug in 6 where if you set the video window to 'always float on top', you can't jog back and forth a frame at a time with the arrow keys (probably something to do with not being able to select the video window when it's floating).
