Microlite MIDI in works, MIDI out doesn't

Hi,

I'm having some problem with my Micro Lite, I work on an Imac (intel) & run 10.4.11 & Logic Pro 8
problem is that all 5 MIDI in ports work fine but I can't get any signal through the 5 MIDI out ports

also my audio MIDI setup crashes a lot when in MIDI setup, I have the latest motu drivers

when I run bootcamp (windows xp) and ableton live the micro lite works fine so it probably ain't the unit itself

help would really be appreciated

I was going to write that most likely it is NOT the interface, but the Logic software. Then I read the rest of the post where I noticed that, under Boot Camp, the other applications with MIDI work just fine. Logic is a great and powerful program, but it also can be a little tricky to grasp as well. Unlike Digital Performer, you don't just select a MIDI In and MIDI Out as simply as that. It used to be that Logic had what were called "environments" where you created a patch----and yeah, it was very confusing! That is no longer the case, but it does require an extra step or two. I'd look in your manual and follow the step by step instructions as that would be the easiest way to learn this, IMHO.

yesterday I did some experimenting and got the unit to work on Mac OSX
apparently running it through an usb hub gives troubles and I also had to install older drivers, it was no Logic problem after all
