Motu 2408 Mk2- Suggested Motherboard? etc.

I'm basically wondering if anyone has this working on a pc, and what setup they have interms of motherboard processor etc. I haven't really got a problem with getting anything old as i just want to get it working for a while before upgrading to a 424 as this is something i can't afford at the moment.
But here's some background to my problem

I've recently bought a Motu 2408 with pci 324 and found out that I'm not going to be able to use it with my mac, so i digged up the old...old PC and I've managed to get the 324 Installed drivers working and this all seems to be functioning. However, when i get to plugging in the 2408, it's not showing up in the Configure Interface drop down menu, I have no idea why this is..not enough RAM? or just some voltage issues with the PCI slots that i've been reading alot about.

So basically, as I said earlier, if you've got this setup working could you be so kind as to let me in on your setup?
