audio drop out on a 2408 w/324

I've searched around and unless I'm dense I could not find an answer so if anyone can help that would be great.

Basically my audio plays back fine no crackles, pops or distortion. But, every 20-30 sec I get a drop out in audio for about 1-2 sec.
My software is not jittering or skipping ahead, at least it does not appear to be.

Any thoughts?
