2 bar button click hiccups
Got 6.0.2. Started a project, lay down kick, 2 bar button on, then on the 1st "real" bar beat 1 clicks, stops, a very erratic 3 & 4, then straightens itself by the 2nd real bar. It does this no matter where I start whether record/playback. 2 bar button OFF, everything's normal, no jumpy click in the 1st bar/where ever the cursor's at.
Anyone else had this problem? How to fix?

Re: 2 bar button click hiccups
I'm having a similar problem with 6.02, after the count in, the click drops out for the first measure and then comes back, anybody have some advice on how to fix this problem? Thanks
Chris

Re: 2 bar button click hiccups
I did hear back from MOTU & it is an issue with 6.0.2, to be addressed in the next update. So that's that.
Now, since I'm still a bit of a newbie, I wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about before I suggested this workaround a friend suggested though he didn't remember exactly how he does this. I got it:
Go to PROJECT menu>MODIFY CONDUCTOR TRACK>INSERT MEASURES. Then tell it how many measures to insert. If you check the box, "Maintain all times following the insertion point", it will put meas. 0,-1, -2, etc. which is the desired effect I want. Leave the box unchecked, it renumbers the meas. starting with the 1st of your newest measures as bar 1.
Having those "negative" measures is better for me anyway since I may "change my mind" & decide I want some pickups to the original bar 1, or also in my case, with the 2 bar button ON if I don't "nail" the downbeat of real bar 1 I get sound cut off, blip, etc.
So over here, better to use the "negative" bars anyway, though yeah, MOTU should fix the 2 bar warning.
Hope this helps.

Interesting. Didn't have this issue in 5.
Yep, need to fix.
