PLAY Pitchbend issues...

I know this is more of a question for the EastWest forums, but I've never had much luck over there, and a lot of people here use PLAY intruments on a daily basis.

I'm just bearly breaking in the EWQLSO Play software (I've been using the NI version up until now), and while I've gotten it to work fairly well, and think it has quite a bit of potential, there's one thing that's not working well for me: pitch bend. After a while of hunting, I finally found the preference for changing the pitch wheel amount, which works for the main samples, but the release samples don't seem to bend, which sounds incredibly bad. So, if I do a pitch bend gliss with a string note, and then release the note while it's a 5th down, then the release will suddenly jump back up.

What's causing this, and how can I fix it?

Make sure you're using the latest version of PLAY (1.2.0; you can check to see which version you have in the standalone or plugin player's menu), as well as the latest version of EWQLSO Instrument Update, which is 1.0.2, for any version (Platinum, Gold or Silver). It was released last December, but even if you bought EWQLSO after that, you might possibly have an older version and need the updates.

Other than that, EastWest is pretty damn easy to get ahold of directly; I once had a similar problem in MOR and they actually e-mailed me a beta fix, so they're likely to help you out here.

Update: I just stopped by the PLAY Upgrade page today and saw that they snuck in PLAY Version 1.2.3 while I wasn't looking. It seems like a quick-fix upgrade for some issues in 1.2.0 that's more for Nehalem Mac Pros than anything else, but like I said, it also seems to address a few generalized bugs from 1.2.0 (I haven't notice any, but ...). Couldn't hurt to download and install it.
