Digital Clicks when recording to stereo tracks
After finishing a project, I use a 2-LA-2A for the mastering compressor. I play the song and re-record back into DP and when I do, about one out of every 4 songs contains a digital click or two. I never get this when recording mono tracks live. Any ideas on what could cause this?

.
Are you using any external sources? If so, it could be a clocking issue.

Re: Digital Clicks when recording to stereo tracks
Tracking out of the board into LA-2A and back in. When monitoring the input there is no noise. When playing back the tracks that are recorded there is random clicks. Not spikey type clock noise, more like staticy type noise. And it only does it when recording to stereo tracks. Nothing that is recorded live does this. I've replaced all cables and the firewire card which goes from the board to the Mac.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I can't get anything mastered this way.

How much level are you recording back in too?
Is the LA2A balanced in's an out?
Make sure you have the impedances to your interface set correctly.
