Looks like I have 1.4. The 828 is a little bit shakey. I have had to set back to factory twice in the last 6 months as the clock goes screwy and changes to 48khz by itself. I have a 1.5 from MOTU I will see how that works. Thanks

I too have a new IMAC and the 828MKII and use my FW drive connected to the 828 with no real problems...if I unhook it I have to restart the computer with the drive connected to the 828 again...that is about it.
