Hi.
I hope all of you doing well..I am using PC quad core,Windows XP,4Giga of ram but 3 in use.Recently I own Motu machfive 2 and motu ethno and Motu symphonic instruments,Those products are not work with me as stand alone, the UVI engine dosn't start or appear!! But with cubase sx3 as vsti it start but when I move the UVI engine the graphic get crash! and most of time it causes crash for cubase!!What is the problem ? my graphic card is GForce 8500..My whole Vsti such kontakt & Vienna & Yellowtools Etc....Work without any problem even as stand alone ? is it a popular problem ? How to solve it then ? Any help from muto support centre ? I spent alot of money to buy this products!

I had similar graphics issues with Ethno and MSI under Windows XP (SP2). I was using an ATI Radeon graphics card with dual monitors. I couldn't get the standalone versions of the software to appear. There would be just the outline of the program.
I remember turning off all hardware acceleration on the card, and using minimal color settings. That seemed to work.
Eventually I got rid of my PC and Windows, and went to a Mac. Ultimately that cleared the problem right up.

I would help some users which have got weird problems and crashes witch MachFive 2
I tried for days and days to install machfivee2: when i opened machfive.exe or machfive dll in cubase 4 machfive crashed all the time.. i tried to resest my pc ststem and reinstall windows xp, programs, etc... always the same problem...
Today i have a little experience which i would share with you
1) pay big attention to your video or graphic card drives... I have ATI Radeon X1300 and the latest drives does not work well with machfive and cause crash problems in my system when i try to open it. Any problem, instead, with previous drives (now i use year 2007 drive and i'm very happy ) graphic card drives are very important with machfive and you don't undervalue them!
2) you can import a lot of samples format in mach five... however they could causes sudden crashes in machfive...try to convert them to .M5p format (save preset and samples as...) and you must be happy now!
I'm convinced that machfive is the best sampler in the world ... his power and feature are unbeatable. I tried kontakt 3: nice sampler and big library...but i love machfive...

Many thanx to all of you..But what surprised me that the whole motu products was working perfectly before in the same system!! I think I installed some thing that let motu doesnt work! but what is it, I do not know..
