I've had a few days to play around and decided to look into this "free VI's/plugs list. I just gave the BlueCats St. Flanger, St. Chorus, and FreqAnalzer a try and after the download process and upon launching DP it seems that the AU's "Crashed Exaimination Process", or so it says in the Documents/MOTU AU Test Results.txt. Anyone know what I should try next?

I'm pretty sure the Blue Cat stuff requires Leopard. Your sig shows you're on Tiger (just like me) so these won't work for you.

Ah hah!!! Thanks James for the update (and SO FAST....) Yeah I'm still back in the dark ages w/Tiger. But I'm from the old old school of, if it "ain't broke etc. etc." Thanks again and I can't tell you how much you and this board mean to so many of us. Job very well done!

You're a genius, Falkster! Don'tCrack had only the VST posted if I remember correctly, so I'd made a mental note to check the manufacturer's site periodically for what I assumed would be an imminent AU release. Whaddaya know. Great! Thank you.

FWIW, 'Cornies, those TAL plugs sound pretty damned fine to me; the chorus, for instance, seems sweet and fat, qualities I know James appreciates for his guitar parts.

Hot news just in.... :)

http://kunz.corrupt.ch/?Products:VST_TAL-TiltEq
The tilt eq isnt available anymore. Tilt is a trademark of an other company. We have to change the name of this plugin. The plugin will be available as soon it has an other name.

Sorry for that....

Hey...

Do you think my original TAL TiltEQ download will be a sought after antique plugin of the future?

Might hang onto it just in case

Audio Damage just released a free tremelo plugin.

http://www.audiodamage.com/downloads/pr ... pid=ADF003

Its based on an old electro-harmonix stomp box discontinued in the 70's, called the Pulse Modulator. Its basically three lfo's modulating amplitude, with controls over speed & depth, a tempo sync function, and a "boost" knob that works like fuzz distortion.

Combined with Audio Damage's two other freebies (FuzzPlus & Rough Rider), this makes for a pretty groovy free virtual guitar pedal setup.
