Howdy -
I'm using an 828mkII with an ADA8000 adat pre (Win XP). I have to go into the Audio Setup dialog each time I fire up and set the clock source to "Adat Optical" to avoid the little clicks and such associated w/clocking errors. And occasionallly I'll forget to do that - annoying to realize the track I've just cut is useless, and have to close out, change that setting and start over.
Just wondering - is anyone aware of a registry entry or such that could be changed to make my preference the default, so I don't have to keep changing it by hand??
Thanks
Ric

I have 828 Mk II & ADA8000. My clock source on motu is set to internal and ADA8000 is slaved to word clock.
Works without any problems for me. Maybe you could try that if you have word clock cable available.
