Hi-
I’ve just invested in MachFive 2 and have been playing around with the Piano sounds (as I’m mainly a Piano player.)
Truth is, I find them all a little on the ‘dull’ side - like they were recorded with a towel stuffed inside the piano case! I have to thump the hell out of my MIDI keyboard to get any brightness, but I also get an awful lot of volume as well.
There seems to be all sorts of ways to tweak stuff in M52 so I’m hoping someone can point me to the digital equivalent of a ‘treble’ booster!

Just try the EQ settings in the FX rack.... lots of presets to get you going.

Would you consider changing the Velocity curve?
A realtime velocity MIDI plug can be a quick fix for that.

I have been using the Rhodes/Epiano samples in M5 and noticed the same thing. I found that I need to turn on the filters and also play around with the pan modding to brighten and liven up the sound. You may want to give that a try.

I'd start by HPF'ing the sound, raising the cutoff point until it sounded too thin, then backing off a little.
My reasoning is principally that I suspect a preponderance of lows is responsible for what you're experiencing. IOW, eliminate the mud first, then see how it sits in the mix. IMHO, there should be enough HF content in there to see you through, especially when the relative balance of highs to lows is altered as I described.
