I'm having problems getting the routing correct in DP using Source Connect Audio Unit Plugin. Is there anyone using Source Connect and DP that would lend a hand.
Source Connect recently released the Audio Unit version that is supposedly compatible with DP. Source-Elements.com have ProTools templates but non yet for DP.
My big problem is getting the Talk Back routed to Source Connect. I can hear and send a signal from the booth to SC as well as listen and record to the remote talent, but the remote talent cannot hear me from the Control Room which makes it very difficult to direct the talent.
According to the Protools template there are two Aux tracks, one with SC as an Insert with it's Input set to Bus 2 and Output to Bus 1.
The second Aux has the Input set to Analog 1 and Output to Bus 2
They also show two mono audio tracks one called Record and the other Playback.
The Record track has the Input set to Bus 1 and Output to Mains
The Playback track has the Input set to None and Output to Mains
DP gives me a feedback loop when I try this.
