I just bought an UltraLite MK3..
all is quite good, some little problems:

-some clicks sometimes, especially when I am on Line..
problem of configuration.???
- and sometimes, my computer Boots... :?

see you later to learn about this audio interface...
(sorry for the mistakes  )
best regards

Yeah sounds like an irq conflict.
IRQ is like a pipeline to your processor, my laptop had my WiFi internet card, ultralite mk3 and graphics card all on IRQ 16 and I had occasional blue screens and drop outs/squeeks/pops. To check your IRQ settings open your device manager and right click on device manager and select 'view->resources by connection' expand 'Interupt Request (IRQ)' and have a look.

You can't easily change the IRQ settings of a computer with ACPI (Windows defaults to this, allows for plug and play to work)
To fix this I reinstalled XP SP3 and only installed the necessary drivers, no internet! And now it works fine.

Another way to get around this problem is to buy an express card like: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/4 ... nsion.html as your express card slot should hopefully default to an IRQ with not much else on it.

Or as a last resort you can uninstall the ACPI drivers and install standard PC drivers which would allow you to specify device IRQ numbers, I've never tried it and I don't recommend it but I thought I'd mention it for anyone who has no options left.
