no mx4 in instrument window (RESOLVED)

well i finally got dp6 and upgraded to 6.1 then i installed mx4, i see it in audio plugin pref and i see it load when i boot into dp6 but i dont see it in instruments so i cant load any instances...what have i done wrong? i dont think its an ilok problem because it allows me to load mx4 at boot up....its ver.1 whatever and i think i upgraded to 2.2 but i cant tell, should i have upgraded to 2.1 first?

hope this is something stupidly obvious


also dp 6 is kind of sluggish in my g4 alot more sluggish than dp5, maybe i need a new puter?

It is odd that DP didn't ask for an authorization. As for a new computer, a G4 is probably a bit slow, depending on the processor. The last one I had ran 5.13 with a 1.4 gHz single. The original 867 or whatever mHz processor couldn't handle much. I think DP 6 would kill it but I've not loaded it on to the 1.4.
