Where is my ASIO Driver?

Post by eustace »

When installing my software for Ultralite mk3 I don't see the ASIO driver being installed.
I've tried it several times. Typically, I'll get WDM, GSIF, and MIDI drivers, but never ASIO.
ASIO, where are you?
(see specs below--and i'm using Vista32)
SONAR Home Studio 6/6XL
MOTU UltraLite mk3
Windows Vista
Hard drive--250GB
RAM--3GB
Processor--2 intel duo core sticks (2.16GHz each)

I've had the same experience with different driver version in XP pro. Which driver are you using? Since I'm running two units I'm back at 3.6.7.x asio is a system crash there. I'm on WDM

honestly, i don't know what you mean by "3.6.7.x"
i was using the WDM driver with my cakewalk software, but was experiencing too many dropouts. So, getting advice from people on the Sonar/Cakewalk message board, I tried switching to ASIO. But, as I said before, ASIO isn't there. I've tried again and again reinstalling, but to no avail. I also get errors telling me that there is no AudioWire Driver found. In the words of John Mayer, "something's missing and i don't know how to fix it" (cheesy, i know)
