Loops don't save

Post by richiebee »

How do you get loop points to save in a preset? I've created a sample and I'm trying to make it into a preset. I set up the loop, everything appears to be fine, I save the preset and sample. Close Mach5 and re-open and then open up my preset. The sample is there, but the loop is not.

I managed to do it once and the loop stay on re-opening but can't repeat it. The manual is of no help.

Anyone? Is this a bug or what?

Just happen to come across the same problem today: Loops with or without crossfades don't save!
With a few tries I found out , it happens only if I use SDS2 files - via drag and drop within DP 5.13 . As soon as the files are converted to Aiffs and then dragged into M5, it works, the loops are saved. :D
But: this should not be! SDS2 is Motus native audio format - or has been until now ( a.f.a.I.k. DP 6 works with many formats )
So when smples get dragges into Mach5 from within DP , we have a problem with our loops! :(
Anyone else come across this problem? ( Ist reliably repeatable)
