Traveller disappears under Windows XP German after reboot

hi guys,

I can install the lates (or earlier) MOTU driver on my machine (AMD X2, MCI board, XP SP2 German) and work with the traveller. after each reboot, the driver is gone, the motu is missing. I have to reinstall it again.

that is.. *********** and it's driving me crazy, as it is our showroom and the customer watching me booting up comptuer and reinstall the driver each time.

my 828mk3 dissapeared today for the first time in months... changed firewire cables, everything and still wont' recognize it. did windows update recently rendering these MOTU drivers uesless?

we have it since day one (that was 3 month ago).

someone told me (from the Swiss-distro), that this is an issue with the German Windows XP..
I tried it with a driver from 2006 and it didnt work!

can someone help please?

check your firewire PCI card
i changed mine and it worked!!!
not properly but windows recognized the device

it recognizes it here too.. for one time after installing the drivers..

reboot and gone.. reinstall.. sometimes bluescreen during reinstall.. reboot..driver ok..

common MOTU! give me answers..
