DP 6.02 is up

vspiegel: since you don't have a signature, I can't see your set up. However, if my memory serves, the EWQL-Intakt ect. problem was with Leopard. After upgrading to Leopard they didn't work anymore. Are you using Leopard?

Would it be possible for anyone who is going to report issues or problems in this and other 6.02 threads to *please* add a signature to your profile???

If you're going to report that some plugin is not working, for example, other users with that plugin will probably want to know which Mac/OS you are running at the very least.

Edited*-I tried iPerformers Dark Mod installed on DP6.02, and its causing crashes on opening.

EDIT* OK hold off, it worked at first but now I'm having issues, let me double check a few things.

DO NOt install the darkmod, I Tried it twice with negative results.

Sorry about that. it's Mac OS 10.5.6 Dual 2.5 Processor PowerPC G5 2.5 GB DDR SDRAM. All the Virtual Instruments from NI were running fine in DP5 on the same configuration just before I updated to DP6. Play and Kontakt 3 work fine.

Performers Dark Mod is not working for me in 6.02. Windows don't show up and then DP crashes.

yeah sorry about that, I installed it, played through a song and then posted that is was OK, it was my mistake, I hadn't restarted my comp and the shortcut was still to DP6.01when I launched the app, the 6.02 does not replace it until after a restart. Really Really sorry about that.

Using a varient of Amplidood's 3.1 mod. No problems thus far.

It is MOST DEFINITELY snappier. Record enables happen instantly. I can run up and down the list with the up/down arrows. Lots of other things are moving faster. I feel the improvement already.

Yeah... that would be good. How about you actually TRY it before you start to complain about it. I'm just saying...

And "new features" includes the Shortcuts panel which gives people back the buttons that were on the control panel and it's more flexible in some ways.

Hi James, Are you using the Kontakt 3 player? The only thing on my G5 Dual 2.0 PPC that DP 6.02 doesn't seem to like is the Kontakt 2 player. The player works fine in stand alone, but not as a DP plug-in. If you are still on your PPC Mac, can you tell me how K3 is working? I may have to bite the bullet and buy the upgrade to get my orchestra soloist back.

K3 works fine. It's all the other NI's that don't work like Intakt and Kompakt.
