Possibly broken?

Post by VigilantSound »

I have a motu 828 mk3, I recently bought a master clock and while hooking up the bnc cable to the motu port i found that i could not tighten the connector the whole way in. When i took a closer look i noticed that the problem was because the hole in the plate was not exactly centered around the connector. So i gently pushed down on the cable while i turned it and it went in, But now the 2 bnc connectors and the s/pdif connectors wobble around. I was wondering if anybody else had what appear to be loose connectors on the units or if its just mine. And if it is just mine should i send it in to be fixed or just not worry about it. I want to open it up a take a look but im not sure how to open it, if some one could give me instructions on how to open up the unit i would really appreciate it. Also i notice on the one spidf connector there is no more resistance keeping it in. it just kinda sits there, it still works.

Nobody? Wobbly connections on the back, like a broken bracket?
