Need help with our Ultralite Mk3 - Not Showing in Device Mgr

Hi, we're trying so hard to get our NEW Ultralite Mk3 work with our NEW computer (bought specifically to work with this MOTU product) even phoned intel and researched before ordering this awesome computer.

Bottom line -- the MOTU was working fine - but ever since we unplugged it from the firewire cable, it won't come back to us... I've followed directions again and again, uninstalled, reinstalled... No matter what, it will not show up in the device manager, the "add new hardware" never shows up and in all - we have a wonderful expensive great non-working product sitting here on our computer table and we can't record. We've been working with Motu tech support since last week, waiting day after day to get this resolved. we just need resolution. Can anyone here help?
