Crossgrade: will I keep my license?

Post by ruudman »

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so please be gentle :)
I'm considering a crossgrade from Logic to
DP.
But will I keep my Logic license by doing that?

Though I intend to use DP from now on, I still have old projects I have to deal with from time to time.

Regards,

Dude, How the hell would we know ?

Truth be told there are some Logic (Laughing) converts around these parts that might have something to say...

No, Motu will confiscate it...and you'll also have to give Motu 10% of all the earnings you've made with dp. ;)

Of course you can keep your Logic license.

Yes everything will be OK, I cross graded from Logic.
You just have to send them the first page of the manual to register.
When I got DP, I actually started to enjoy using a computer to record.

You can crossgrade to Digital Performer by purchasing directly from MOTU or from any retail dealer who carries the crossgrade version (also known as the Retail Upgrade or Competitive Upgrade). The crossgrade version is complete in the box, including key code to install and run DP. There will also be an envelope and form in the box. We ask that you fill out the form and mail it back to MOTU. We ask that you provide the serial number of the competing product, as well as the first page of the manual of that software. If you buy the upgrade through a retailer, you don't have to provide any verification to the dealer. If you don't send the registration info back to MOTU, you won't be in our database and won't be able to get updates, replacement disk, manuals, etc.

You do not forfeit the software you used for the crossgrade.

At your service...
