Motu is pants i will never buy another product from them again after therye tech support joke and driver problems
ok so it works now but to wait 3-4 weeks for a tech support response is terrible and ive never experienced it from any other company and iver deal with lots, never again even tho the product is fine once its up and running, im most guttet by theyre tech support nonsense, (basically told me to unplug it and plug it back in)luckily i fixed the problem on my own, 828mk3 works fine just dont expect any help other than the forums, manuals, specs noway
i hate motu for theyre tech support

I often download manuals before I buy to get tech info and such. Doesn't seem like a big deal. If nothing else, a .pdf version on the driver disk,...

I get the feeling this company is in the apple mold that makes you need to come to them at every step as if they're the only game in town. Why I run PC, why I won't buy another MOTU

Hey 10-4 on the manuals. It is not only you cannot read these before you buy their stuff, the paper manuals that come with the thing are old and many software revisions behind the device so they are of limited value. Do what I did and buy the thing from zzsounds or musicians friend where they offer a trial period during which you can read the book and play with the device as well as attempt to access motu's tech support. (Good luck with that!). If it turns out it doesn't do what you need, send the thing back. It will cost a few bucks but I expect it costs motu a lot more and maybe they will find it more economical to put these manuals on line, then deal with a whole lot of returned products that they at least have to repack. To say nothing about zzsounds or musicians friend getting pissed about all the returned things.

Motu could do a lot of things better, but then again we all could!
