Awesome! So if I switched from Mac to PC, not only could I automatically string 4 photos together to make a crappy panorama, but i can make completely bad and irritating music too! That's it - I'm throwing all my Macs in the trash and I'm going right out to buy a PC with Vista. Thank (g)od for Microsoft - just like Mighty Mouse, coming to save the day.

This thing reminded me of the first Casio keyboard I saw back in 1982. It sounded about as good....

I just don't get it....the marketing agency that MS is using is one of two things: 1) the absolute worst marketing agency in existence, or 2) a marketing agency full of covert Apple operatives who are churning out the worst marketing ads ever in order to further damage MS's business...

That said, I should be more fair to the marketing agency.....I'm sure it is extremely difficult to successfully market a completely •••• product...

Aahh, I'm not too sure about it being that difficult to succesfully market crap products - I think about all the crap I've bought because of the marketing  - just find people that can sing for starters, and cool modern kids, not a nerdy family  .

You're aware that you could have 25 inserts or more if you wanted to, aren't you, boots?

Talking about how Songsmith sounds like an old Casio keyboard... this is a poster of our band from the 80's taken in the Vegas desert (yes it's true - we were sponsored by Casio for a while - loved their sampler  ) - I'm the guy with the casio keyboard :) :) :) .

Are you sporting a mullet? ;) I think we need to start a thread where we all post embarrassing photos of ourselves from the 80s. I know somewhere I got pics with permed hair, parachute pants, white capezios, a silver Shure microphones jacket, leopard print bandana around my neck, and assorted bracelets and jewelry. I'm proud to say though that I NEVER wore a bandana like a headband... EVER!!!

It was a something like a half mullet  wow, leopard print bandana.. It would be fun to see old 80's rock pics - it's probably old rockers like that had more embarassing pics.

Speaking of funny posters - we did a concert in India (Hyderabad) back in '89, and the organizers put together a poster where our band name was really small at the top, and in huge letters the rest of the poster said 'THE BIGGEST ROCK SPECTACLE SINCE URIAH HEAP' (they played there back in 86 or so). Needless to say, 5000 people showed up (it was kind of intense as there had just been riots where 55 people died). Other than a couple fights, it was truly a rock spectacle    The crowd went wild when i started to play 'the final countdown' on my Casio :D :D

I can claim to have never worn spandex at any time in my life, even though I played in metal/hard rock bands all through the 80's.
I'm very proud of this. I did sport knee high moccasin boots and white jeans with a raccoon tail once when I was 16 or 17 (about 1980) and playing bars. Very Nugent. I may have also worn a kimono type top once, but I'm trying to block that out.
