Ultralite mk3 Volume Knob not working

The volume knob wont turn the volume up or down. I can click and switch between master and phon vol. but twisting = no volume change.

i did a hard reset and everything, im afraid its a hardware issue...

there will be firmware upgrade that fix this issue

yea i was gonna say,, i wonder if this is a firmware prob.

I talked to the motu tech, they said they had no idea and for me to send it in.

If you turn the knob and nothing happens (but everything else appears to work normally), then the encoder is probably faulty and needs to be replaced.

Something tells me that MOTU tech support doesn't trawl YouTube for videos of broken hardware. Well, maybe they do. Perhaps you should give them a call.

thats really weird. it's gotta be a firmware issue, im sure there is a bug somewhere

same problem here since i used it with my pc, even with a pci ti chipset firewire controller
whitch is recommended.

Same here. I love my ULmk3 and love that with lion the OS volume is active at last.
Everything was fine until now - the VOL knob dial does not get recognized.
That is totally strange , as a matter of fact - i haven't turned it on and it wasn't even connected to any power source or anything at all for the past 3-4 weeks ?!
I do care for all my gear and also tried to resolve the problem via hard reset - no change.

Now the phones output rendered useless
MOTU please do something !

No idea it had been available this long...... anyway it works fine here!!!
