Motu828 MKIII EQ Problem

Post by yeti »

Hello!

More and more i work with Equalisation in Cue Mix FX. I found out, that it is not possible to make precise Adjustments ... I want to cut exactly 110 Hz, the position of the Frequenz Handle snaps to 111, 112, 108 and no way to fix it with the knobs. Withot precise adjustment the filter is worthless for me. Am i alone with this observation, or is there a feature to fine adjust or type in the parameters?

thanks an all the best

On the front panel you can adjust each EQ band's center frequency by 10Hz increments between 20Hz and 1kHz.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.

Thank you for the answer!
I can´t believe this.... so the filter section is useless for me... or would you say: this is a very musical adjustment for frequencies... you can´t bring up or down the frequenz you need, but 10Hz higher or below it sounds much better??????? There should be a fix...

I don't know if this works because I don't have a MkIII, but in DP's MW Equaliser holding Command while mousing gives a finer control.... worth a try.....

but that is on a Mac, so I don't know for Windows..... I guess I'm not much help then!!!!!

Cheers
