Some time back I came to this site with nothing but frustration, not realizing it was not associated with MOTU and was a bit rude. So I just wanted to say thanks to James for looking over what is a valuable resource for MOTU users especially since so often it seems that more than not MOTU is a hindrance than a help

Yes I have. The big one was the fix for getting my 896hd and 8pre to work pretty with each other. Kudos to RealRoach for that.
I spend time over at the Sonar forum which is mostly a pretty friendly place. Once I figured out that everyone here was more or less in the same boat I figured a cooperative attitude was definitely in order.
