hard reset of a tascam da-30

Does anyone know how to hard reset a Tascam DA-30 DAT machine. I was dumping down some old files, when the machine locked. It stays in 48khz, and will not play back the audio. All of the other functions seem to work. I have tried unplugging and just using it as a stand alone. The machine appears to be frozen. Any ideas on how to fix this mess?
