Beat Detection mini tutorial

Post by musicarteca »

Here it is a step by step Beat detection tutorial to a problem from one of the threads. Anyone interested is welcome to download it and try it out.

The goal is to import a drum loop, create a tempo map from the performance, then change the tempo and adjust the loop to the new tempo.

You can download the file at: http://homepage.mac.com/musicart/Legato_Productions/FileSharing1.html
The password is: DP4.52. Step by step instruction are included.

Strangely enough, sometimes you have to try a few times before the password works, don't ask me why. Apollo, If you still can't get it send me an email, I will send it to you directly.

Yes, 4.52 it is. I've read somewehre that when a DP document gets compressed it loses something and can't be opened after. Maybe has somthing to do with my issue.

Thx
