Re: Wuz up with the monitoring tab in the cue mix fx
The monitor button for each output pair in the Outputs tab determines whether that output pair is part of the monitor group. They monitor group outputs are scaled by the master volume control. Outputs that are not in the monitor group are not scaled. When an output is not in the monitor group, audio passes to it with no additional attenuation.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.

well, that clears things up for me
Just got my new ultralite, and the cuemix software certainly takes some time to get used to...

Re: Wuz up with the monitoring tab in the cue mix fx
Is there a way to turn down another section of the program to avoid this? I am just afraid I am going to accidentally toggle off that monitor button (its already happened once and it bla-ss-ted) and blow up my speakers.
Any way to set perhaps a section of the program to not blast if the monitor is accidentally clicked?
Thanks!
Frank

You could get a passive balanced xlr/xlr attenuator, or make one yourself, just take care the
load isn't to lo, i.e.5 kOhms would be ok, but just inserted before your poweramp / act. speakers input
Take care
