Motu 828 on Windows XP64

Hi there,

I've used my Motu 828 for years on Windows XP without a problem, but now I want to switch to Windows XP Pro 64 bit.
Will my good old 828 work in a 64 bit environment?
I noticed there are drivers available on Motu's site called "64-bit Firewire and USB 2 Audio", but I have no idea
whether these are the ones I need for my 828.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, I'll try to put it differently:

Does the Motu 828 (original) work in a 64 bit environment (XP Pro or Vista)?
Same question for the MIDI Express 128 by the way.

Yes, both are compatible with 64-bit Windows XP and Vista. You just need the latest drivers installed.

stay away from x64 atm

-> update: xp 64 is running just fine.

My 828 Mk3 works very well in XP 64 and runs with no problems. Just make sure you remove any old drivers if you have been using another card before you install it.

reeper, i am having a problem with my 828mk2... under win xp pro x64....

any ideas on what to do?

installed the driver from the official site and my 828 just does not recognise.. worked fine under standard xp pro on my old pc..
