Updating DP5.1 to 5.13

Post by ltemma74 »

Hello guys,

I took a little hiatus from recording and DP. I am starting fresh again and just installed DP5 on my 24" iMac (first generation). Looks like the CD installed DP 5.1. I am wondering if I should download and install the DP 5.13 update ONLY or if I should download and install the incremental updates along the way (ie., DP 5.11, then 5.12, then 5.13). I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Len, I'd install all the above to be safe, mate. 5.13 will have major problems otherwise.

This issue was discussed a lot on the board, and the evidence was clear.

Thanks, MM. I will learn to use the new board's advanced search function. Thanks for your patience. Lots of changes in DP land with v6 and the new board! Glad to be getting back into the game. BTW, I like your avatar and I'm glad to see you're still contributing. Hope you are well and things are swell down under.

Well, I haven't swelled down under in a while, but I'm OK thank you. For the record, I didn't just say that; you were hallucinating.

Thank you for your kind words, ltemma74.

Oh man... I think I'm in love with the Moaner Pleaser. That's a mean trick to play on a celibate monkey. LOL
