828mk3 - No MIDI out

Hi there,
just got a new 828mk3
Unfortunately I have a problem getting a MIDI signal out to my external sound module.

I can see the MIDI IN on the 828 flash when I hit the keyboard keys. But the module doesn't show that is is receiving signal. Plugging the keyboard directly to the module functions.

The chain is Keyboard -> 828 MIDI-in : 828 MIDI-out -> sound module.

Could really use a tip. Thanks.

Problem solved.

I was simply impatient.
The wiring and mac Audio/MIDI config were correct from the start.
Removed all the superfluous & exerimental devices from the Audio/MIDI setup and left only the 828 in the config.
Restarted my sequencer and it showed the 828 as the only MIDI device on the system, which is what I needed.
I pointed the sequencer MIDI-out to the 828 which transfered the signal to the sound module.
