Can't install Vista x64 drivers

I'm having trouble installing the 64 bit firewire drivers (got a Traveler) on Vista x64... when I run the install I get an "Error 1721" that the "RunSetupDrivers" action could not be run. This leaves me with CueMix installed, but no drivers. When deinstalling I get a similar error, so to actually remove what was installed, I need to go back to a system restore point... The vista install is basically a fresh SP1 install, so it's unlikely to be caused by other software. Did anyone run into the same issue, and how did you solve it?

I have the same problem. The installer cant remove the old drivers, and the installer quits without installing the new drivers. I too get the same errormessage .
Now i dont know what to do. Does somebody have a solution to our problem?
I m running vista 64 and the traveler.

In my case it's worse... I don't even have an older 64 bit driver... and as usual motu support is taking their time answering...

FYI. I got the same 1721 error when I tried to install the latest 64-bit vista driver. I selected "run as administrator" the second time and it installed fine.

heh. run as administrator seems to work. so it's probably an issue with the installer having problems with UAC.

I've also tried everything and I get the error code... I'm running it as administrator... Does no good... very frustrating!!!

In my case that helped make it install, but I'm still getting all kinds of issues like interrupted audio, beeps every 2-3 seconds etc. etc. (and the FW chipset is a TI chipset...)

Oh... and the TechLink support request I posted more than two weeks ago, wasn't even read yet by the idiots over at MotU... 2-3 days... right...
