Hmmm... hadn't thought of that. I listened to the demos and Amped 1 sounded like it would fit best for most of my own uses, so I ordered the download version tonight. I was hoping it was instantly downloadable, but it's not. I can't complain... it says within 24 hours on the web site, but I didn't notice it and was eagerly awaiting starting that 1.2GB rar download.mhschmieder wrote:I have everything he sells already, except the amped versions of Black Bass. I'm still debating, since they're actually re-amped versions of the DI library vs. recordings of an amped bass, whether it's worth it vs. using amp modeling plug-ins.
I think we should support him during this time. Buy Scarbee stuff as a measure of support. Wife with cancer is a tragedy I hope to never experience!kgdrum wrote:I hope Mr. Scarbee's wife has a full recovery ,very tough dealing with family health issues as well as business at the same time.
Man. I guess everybody does something stupid sometime and I sure did. My story doesn't end there though. I wrote to Scarbee on the hope that they might refund me, but I figured it unlikely since it's an uprotected sample library. I thought it was such a long shot that I had ordered the crossgrade to Kontakt 3 (which I really couldn't afford to do right now). Well.... I got an email from Thomas Skarbye himself saying that he understood and he would give me a refund and just delete the files. Now THAT is incredible. I was able to get a hold of the retailer I placed the Kontakt 3 crossgrade with and cancel that too.tobysan wrote:Sorry to hear that James, but; at less a lot of us are going to learn about your experience.
Thanks
