I humbly seek your help/advise once again. I was using a PowerBook G4 667Mhz for years. I loved the ability to move about with my mobile setup. In February 2008, I purchased a used PowerMac G5 Dual 2.0. Many of you who responded to my last post suggested an iMac. However, I wasn't ready for the jump into the Intel World. I currently use DP 5.01 with Machfive v1 and Waves NGB V5. I LOVE my setup

I do love the Power Boost with the G5, however, I LOVE being Mobile. I was thinking of using a MacBook Pro 2.33Ghz Core2Duo to run DP6 & Machfive v2. I am usually involved in MIDI-Pre Production and Audio Recording in Smooth Jazz, R&B, HipHop (Very Little), Pop, and Commercial Scoring. My track count isn't usually an issue. Although I push the Vocal stacking limit from time to time. The highest track count I've used in any project reached 50 Tracks.
With all that being said. I would appreciate it if anyone using a MacBook Pro 2.33Ghz (or higher) Core2Duo running DP6 & Machfive v2 cold respond to this post. Your comments would truly put my curiosity to rest.
Thank you for your time,
RJ
