Have you tried using the plug in version with Always run in real-time selected? I think I had it working the other day. For pitch stuff, I've mostly been using DP built in pitch editing. It's quick and easy :)

T-Racks (1.22 and 1.3)

If try to apply it to a soundbite (not use it as an insert on a track), none of the parameters can change while previewing the audio. Knobs and switches just sit stubbornly in place. Once I stop preview, everything's fine, but that just means a lot of trial and error if I can't hear the changes real time.
1.22 is dust, but 1.3 works great as an insert. They're coming out with version 3 next month. That should work :)

Since my upgrade a week or so ago to DP 6.0.1 cannot get any of my East West Plugins to work? They all load, but when you attempt to select an instrument in the player,it becomes a blank effects window or portions of the player turns" white" and unusable. This is true whether I am using the new "Play Version" or the older Kontakt or Kompakt Player, all of which worked just fine in DP 4.6.1. Do any of you know whether such a problem existed in DP 5? East West does not know what the problem can be either. I depend on these virtual sounds, so am sort of "shipwrecked" at the moment!

Which version of Kontakt are you using? I upgraded to version 3 and that fixed my Kontakt issue. If you list your equipment and software versions in your signature it's easier to help you.

I am using Mac OS 10.4.11 on a Dual 2.7 GHz Power PC G5, 4. 5 GB RAM , DP 6.0.1, Kontakt Player 2.2.4, East West Play 1.0.083, EWQL Gold Symphonic Orchestra 1.0.44, Gypsy 1.0.028. None of these Native Instruments Plug-ins work, though they all load when I start up DP.

Anyone heard from Soundtoys.

I'm having a nightmare with the knobs for Crystallizer. It's so frustrating.

Have they acknowledged the problem? Or is it one of those lovely two-companies-pointing-fingers-at-each-other scenarios between MOTU and Soundtoys?

POD Farm and TC Powercore AUs both show the same behaviour - the GUI for the plugin is frozen, but the plugin still processes the audio. With TC, I can change presets (and hear the audio processing change) but with POD Farm it's stuck on the default preset. POD Gearbox plugin works fine.

DP6 seems oblivious to the AU shenanigans and works away happily.

AudioDesk reported that POD farm passed vaildation, but may degrade performance the ran the plugin just fine. No probs with Powercore.

Garageband and Logic Pro 8 are quite happy with both POD farm and TC Powercore.

From my recent experience (the last three weeks) this is not true. Komplete5/Kore2 bundle works fine with DP6.01 under 10.5.5. Including using the Kore2 control surface.

All the best,

I've said it before here, this is wrong. I am happily using Absynth 4+ on an Intel mac with 6.01 & 10.5.5.
Just because you are having a problem :( doesn't mean that everyone is.
Cheers,

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

Patently false! This is why I regret reporting things here sometimes because this sort of hyperbole gets spread around. Firstly, some NI VIs don't work with PPC processors and DP 6.01 and OS 10.5.5. Some. But if you're on Intel most of them work find as far as I know. This sort of statement is very irresponsible and of course just plain wrong.

You are most likely using Auto Tune Evo in an insert. Try to apply it to a soundbite please, and let us know. (save first :D )

I'm on PPC OS 10.5.5 and DP 6.0.1 and Evo works fine as an insert but crashes when applied to a sound bite.

But that's not only AT6. It's with all Audio Units I use. (waves, PSP, T-racks, sound soap, and apple) They all don't work in preview/apply mode.

Using the MAS audio Unit Bundle version 1.7.

They do work with version 1.6.1. But then Kontakt 3 wouldn't work.

Maybe on PPC, I can't say. I have B4 II, K3, Absynth, all working great on DP 6.01 and OS 10.5.5 on intel.

In fact, I've just retested all my plugs while doing a reinstall on a Macbook after disk failure and I do not have a single problem with anything listed in my signature on DP6.01 and 10.5.5 on intel.
