BlueScreen Windows Vista and 828MK3 - problem solved

Hi,

I use my Motu 828MK3 since 6 Months with my Laptop and the firewire Controller (ricoh) with some little problems but it works good.
Today I plug in my Motu in to the (internal) firewire (Ricoh) and I get an BlueScreen (Windows Vista) and the Laptop reboot immedialy.
After the reboot, the it's the same .
I deinstalle the firewire driver reboot the PC and it's the same (BlueScreen and reboot)
I use an other firwire controller (TI), but the Moto is not found ??? In the past it works good !!
A few days ago I've install the windows vista service pack and today i've install any other vista service updates - if this ist the cause of this problems ?
Can anyone say the same ??

After the deinstalling Vista SP1 the motu is working fine ...

Hi,

here some steps, to get Vista SP1 and an Motu828mk3 in function.
I've done the following steps.
- Deinstall the Motu firewire driver
- install windows vista SP1
- install Motu firewire driver
and all is good.
