DP numeric keypad shortcuts on Macbook Pro
Is there a way to use DP numeric keypad shortcuts in Macbook Pro (like pressing "1" to rewind to the 1st bar of the sequence or pressing "." then "6" to go to measure six of the sequence?

Re: DP numeric keypad shortcuts on Macbook Pro
Thanks Stephen. Does this mean I have to get a phantom keypad to be able to do those DP shortcuts? Can't I use the fn key in combination with the existing number keys?

A huge timesaver is to buy a cheap numeric USB keyboard.

Weather you need the Function key or not is set at the OS preferences. It reads something like "Use al F1 keys as standard function keys" (under keyboard).vonski wrote:Thanks Stephen. But yeah. I think you will soon find that you NEED a keyboard extention if you want to work fast.

Re: DP numeric keypad shortcuts on Macbook Pro
Sorry if I wasn't clear..... by using the fn key , j k l become 1 2 3, u i o become 4 5 6, and 7 8 9 become 7 8 9, oh and m is the zero, and these function just like the keypad. So you don't need to add anything.... however I don't find it so comfortablevonski wrote:Thanks Stephen. Does this mean I have to get a phantom keypad to be able to do those DP shortcuts? Thanks Stephen.
I'll check it out and see if it's good enough for minor "on the road" tweaking of my DP projects.

Re: DP numeric keypad shortcuts on Macbook Pro
FInally gone back to working with DP after a long stint from DP3, 4 and 5. This works a treat. Can't believe I didn't know about this. I am a shortcut freak also.

I was using little USB numpad also but this works just dandy FN + J etc
I am using DP 7.24 on a Non-Ret MB Pro 2012 with ML and this works great.
