Mixing question

Post by razamichoacana »

I'm concerned about the way i use my levels when i mix. Every mix i have ever done I leave my master fader @ zero db and i end up turning most of my track fader down to keep my master fader from clipping. I wonder if i'm doing this backwards. thank you for any advice in advanced

Hi

Yes. You are correct keeping your master fader from clipping and zero level.
