vocal ultralite mk3

Hi guys,

I just bought the Ultralite Mk3 and i was trying some vocals. What do you guys do to raise the volume.. Play directly with the trim and raise it up to +15 db or something or you use compressor with makeup gain to add volume.

Just so i have an idea, and also at what level do you track your vocal generally?
