Went to the studio today to record some drums. I havent used my 828 mk3 for a few weeks now, and thought it was time. But when I turn on the unit it takes ages to load - about 3-4 minutes, and it can´t process audio! The firmware is 1.06. This happens also when the unit isn´t connected to the computer (no fw-cable connected). When loaded, the light at 44.1 khz blinks veeeerrryy slowly. And, no audio whatsoever.The cuemix takes ages to load, both internally, and through the laptop. Dunno if this is because I updated to 1.06 a while ago.
I actually got this unit (1.01 version) as a replacement for a faulty one. Bought it in the states, live in Sweden - the power supply is correct. I feel so unhappy right now. It´s a black paperweight right now.
