MIDI Express 128 losing it's connection

Post by DJ Synchro »

Hi all,

Great that there is this forum! :D
I have an issue with my new Motu MIDI Epxress 128 USB. When I boot or reboot my computer, sometimes Windows won't recognize the interface anymore. I have to unplug it and then plug it in again for Windows to recognize it again. And sometimes all the MIDI IN Led's are lit when the interface is not recognized.
Any idea's on this? :?:

(I work with a AMD Athlon x2 4600+ computer with 2GB RAM on a Asus Motherboard and graphics card. My OS is Windows XP Professional with SP3.)

I had the same thing randomly happening a few months back. I solved it by plugging the MIDI Express 128 into an alternative USB port on my PC. Hope this works for you too!

I tried a different port which is also a different USB Root hub then the one I previously used. So far so good! Thanks for your reply! :D
