Nah, my primary Mac development machine is an Intel Mini running Leopard, and it's fine with DP6.01. I'd be more prone to think they don't have the latest version in hand.

I just downloaded the demo last week. Is there a newer version? When I try to put it in an insert I get, "Digital Performer has encountered an error. Mas, 0 error reported by Mas Audio Unit Support: Failure: Initialize 213 -2147450878 [-2147450878].

Really. No kidding. :(

Phil

Edit: I just downloaded it now - same results.

Thanks for the update!
I just tested the updated plugins in DP6.01 on Intel 10.5.5. When inserted on stereo tracks or busses, they are working great(except Oligarc, I know it hasn't been updated). On mono tracks however, all the plugins with sidechain inputs give error message Phil posted then do nothing.
Are mono versions working for others or is it an issue with my system?
I did remove all previous versions and trash the Audio Unit cache before starting DP.

Ahhh maybe that's it. It happened on a mono track for me as well. Aha... I just tried The Rocket on a stereo track and there was no problem... in fact I tried the Bus Comp 1990's Console preset... Niiiiice!! Me like!!! :)

Oh... Scott... forgot to mention, now that I got Rocket to load on a stereo track: there is still a problem with transport control from the Mac keyboard not working when the plug-in window is the active/focused window. (Spacebar won't stop/start playback, for example, when plug-in window is frontmost window.)

hey scott,

the decadence oversampling button still causing phase weirdness. if you could fix that (and mono tracks) everything would be great - some of us like to set up aux track busses to send various things through so its not as simple as just using the parallel knob on the rocket. it's strange - none of your other plugs have this happen with the oversampling turned on. thx for the quick updates.

I use a MUCH steeper anti-aliasing filter on this plugin...different from the ones I use on the other plugins. I hate to take that out, since it does a VERY good job of removing aliasing artifacts from oversampled audio, but I hear what you're saying...I'll think about it.

In the meantime, I've posted a build of all the OS X plugins that have sidechain inputs...you're welcome to see if that resolves the mono issue for you. It's kind of a workaround, but should fix it. I hope to make a more permanent fix later.

Just re-download from the regular download link on our website.

And yet another update...

Phase weirdness should be gone in oversample mode (Decadence), and as a bonus, it should use less CPU now.

that did it. sounds great, love the impetus. any chance of putting that knob on the eqs? that would be excellent.
any plans to do an opto comp that sounds as good as the rocket (la2a or cl-1b)?
keep up the good work work.

Ahhh yes!
All the updated sidechain plugs now work on mono tracks. Preliminary testing looks good. Looks like Schwa's sidechain plugs still need to be updated. In just a couple minutes playing, The Rocket is sweet on mono drum tracks, as well as the 90's buss comp on the 2-mix.
Gonna have to buy them ASAP!(can't beat the service either)

Please download again, as there was an issue with the plugins saving their state in a project that could cause problems down the road...Fixed.

Apologies, all, for the fast/furious updates.
