HELP ME! HD896 AND WINDOWS

Im running an HD896 and a Windows XP Box 2 gig processor 2 gigs ram

I am dying to get my unit running as soon as possible and I have had much driver difficulty with Sonar 7.

What is some easy software I can use aside from Sonar to really get my Motu unit functional ????


I have been told that Cuebase is somewhat easy to use... what should I do ?


I REALLY WANT TO GET MY MOTU IN WORKING ORDER!

HERE IS MY SITUATION !

Cuemix is working fine !!! All the channels are showing up perfectly, even through the monitors....

currently, when i open up Sonar 7 ... i get "dropout" sometimes in the audio...

more importantly it will only recognize MOTU Analog Left/R/or Stereo as well as ADAT/AEU ...etc....

at one time MotuAnalog/ADAT 1/2 3/4 5/6 7/8 were recognized.... now I dont get that

I have a feeling that this is a driver issue.... (im using a standard onboard Realtek soundcard)

what should I do ???
