DP5.13 wont add clippings/Audio dropping out

DP5.13 wont add clippings/Audio dropping out

Has anyone had a problem trying to add a clippings window in DP5? everytime I try it gives me a Mac OS error...'file not found' error -43. I've also been having problems with playback dropping out when I move the wiper and hit play....any help would be greatly appreciated...

I'm in 10.4.11 with DP 5.13, 3G Ram

I'd be repairing permissions and cleaning out the caches etc etc
Creativity, some digital stuff and analogue things that go boom. crackle, bits of wood with strings on them that go twang

I've repaired permissions, don't know how to clean out the cache...
