DP/Waves 5 plugins & FCE 3.0HD

Hello

I'm running FCE 3.0HD on 10.3.9 on AlBook G4. My Waves 5 plug-ins seem to be incompatible with FCE 3. I'm about to move to FCE 3.5HD on Tiger.

I'd like FCE 3.0 to ignore my Waves plugins without affecting the way the plugins work in my DAW apps like Digital Performer and Ableton Live.

Anyone know how to do this?
