Sonnox Plug-ins crashing 6.0.1

The following Sonnox plug-ins will only work in 'real time' mode (otherwise they cause DP to crash on start-up).

Oxford Reverb
Oxford Limiter

The following Sonnox plug-in crashes DP 6.0.1 on start-up if it has been called:-

Oxford TransMod (I find it better to leave this out of the Components folder altogether.)

These problems do not occur in DP 6.0.

This looks like MOTU fixing one problem only to cause another. Has anyone else had this experience?

There is definitely something odd going on with VIs and plugins with 6.01. I haven't had *that* specific problem, but none of my IK Multimedia stuff works any more in 6.0 or 6.01 since doing the update.

Hmmm. As I use the Sonnox plug-ins all the time I haven't got around to testing NI, iZotope, Sonalksis and all the rest.

I have seen quite a few plug-in related posts on the forum so it looks as if a programmer at MOTU has accidently written a duff line of code. Normally if I have an issue like this and its unique to me I do a complete erase and re-install. (You'd be surprised how often that does the trick). However I'll wait and hope MOTU can prepare an update in the next few weeks to address this specific problem.

I've just done a 're-examine' on the plug-ins. I get no error messages and the Sonnox plug-ins are all working. Very puzzling.

That is not to say that 6.0.1 is 100%. It is not. I still keeps crashing- often when plug-ins are loaded. The last time it crashed was after another 're-examine'.

I haven't yet tested Sonalksis and iZotope and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I had to go back to 5.13, specifically because the Sonnox (EQ, dynamics) plugs would crash the program in 6.0.

Yeah, I tried replacing the audio plug bundles thing, etc.

Looks like they may not have fixed this yet..

I just don't have what might end up being a full day to find out for myself.

Very strange. I don't have any problems with 6.0 and plug-ins.

What is even more strange is that the TransMod plug-in which was the biggest offender now seems seems to be running OK. At least I think it's running OK.

I still get the occasional crash when I load a DP file in (i.e. once an hour or so) but at least I can work. Once everything is loaded and all the plug-ins display I don't get any problems.

I had a lot of problems running Sonnox plug-ins under Vista 64 a year ago. Then it was the iLok drivers that were at fault. Just in case they were the culprit this time around I downloaded and installed the latest iLok drivers. I have to say this had no effect whatsoever.

No mine would occur when the plugs were accessed- i.e. the program's running and the plug is working (you can hear it), but when you click to access it, crash. The plugs loaded in DP6 just fine and if I pull up a song created in 5.13 that already had Sonnox plugs on some tracks - again they actually load and work. But as soon as you access the GUI, or click a parameter if it's already open, and...
