Guitar Effects
I'm playing around with setting up a DP project to use as an effects rack for my guitar. I was wondering what stomp box style effects plugins people like. I'm mainly looking for modulation and delay type effects.

Good call Jarok; nice and grainy, that one.
James and I like MonstaChorus from BetaBugs Software.
Grab the other plugs while you're there if you want; all free:

I also like KR Phaser:

Thanks for the replies.
Some things that I found on the Don't Crack list that I like were the TAL plugins. I really like Supaphaser, but it won't work correctly in DP5. It always reverts to the default settings when I close the window.

You might look at any of the amp simulator plugins (Amplitube, Guitar Rig, Line 6 Gearbox, etc.). THey all come with a variety of plugins. The Guitar Rig effects are one of the strengths of that app. You could bypass the amps, cabs and mics if you don't want to use that part of the processing.
This one gets some good reviews:

Oligarc by Stillwell Audio.
The SoundToys bundle sounds extremely good, but we're waiting for a patch for DP6 to fix some anomalies. It worked okay for me in DP5 though.
Audiodamage has some great delays and modulation effects for very reasonable prices.
There are some free plugins at the Airwindows site.
The OHMForce plugins are quite deep and flexible but are more expensive. But they do anything from subtle to insane.
The Nomad Factory BlueTube effects sound pretty good to me and use very little CPU.
PSP Audioware has some Lexicon-authorized emulations for delay.

I keep thinking about just getting Guitar Rig, but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger right now. I probably ought to go buy a real phaser pedal and call it a day. I have hardware sitting on my floor right now that I've had since I was in high school. I don't see plugins lasting that long. Hardware effects seem to be less affected by computer and OS upgrades.
