EMU samples into Mach 5?

Post by artfarm1 »

Hi..... I'm wondering if anyone has the best solution for getting samples of instruments I've created in an EMU e6400 into Mach 5?

I've got the samples in EMU format on an Iomega Jaz drive.

Any suggestions welcome!

Have you tried importing them as per the MachFive manual? I've imported all my ESI4000 samples direct from the EMu disks into MachFive the day I got MachFive ver. 1 and it went very smooth.

You don't say what machines you are using, however the Jaz drive is probably SCSI (just a wild guess) and that has been abandoned since OS 9 I believe unless you have an adaptor. So you may have to just get it transferred to a CD or some other format you can read on whatever machine you are running.

It just came to my attention to get a SCSI / Firewire adaptor as well. I should check that out first I guess!

Thanks.
